Happy Bank Holiday everyone, I hope you all enjoyed your long weekend as much as I did 🙂 After a miserable few days weather wise it was so nice to see the sun make an appearance today. For those of you who follow me on social media you’ll know I was in Galway for race week from Wednesday until yesterday. I had such a fun filled time that included judging Best Dressed Lady at the Claregalway Hotel, plenty of parties, superb style, fabulous food and exciting exploring. After my last day off today, spent in Malahide with one of the girls it’s back to reality and all things Fairy Tales. After catching up on emails and admin I wanted to quickly update you all on where I’m at with the book. With over half the content written, most of the illustrations ready and the photoshoot planned, things are moving fast. I’m constantly getting asked about my career story; how I set up a blog, turned it into a website, how to utilise social media and be successful, so I’ve included a whole section on that. Every day girls mail me about break ups, bad relationships, being single, and dating. I also get asked about my anxiety, how I handled panic attacks, tips and tricks to alleviate stress and much more is also included. Other frequently asked questions including my skincare routine, best beauty buys, make up techniques, my fitness journey, transforming your body and mind, confidence and extras like the best phone apps for editing are also delivered in detail. I’m so happy with the illustrations so far which really make the design process come together. I have the amazing Tiara Rad on board for our photography, the fabulously fashionable Laura Mullett styling the shoot, and even a film crew covering the whole weekend at the end of August. After the final draft is in I get the difficult task of picking my cover and fine tune the design layout, then it’s time to sort pre order options, book tour dates and my launch party. The book will be out in early November and be under €20 meaning it’s the perfect stocking filler for anyone looking for a glitter guide to surviving with sparkle and sass 😉 I’ll be sure to continue keeping you posted on my progress and take you behind the scenes of the shoot ensuring you’re all involved every step of the way.
