Color Lustre

Colour Lustre

After recently changing my mousey brown virgin hair to a copper colour and shortly after moving to the dark side I’ve switched up my cleansing and treatment routine to ensure my hair avoids dreaded damage and maintains moisture. Having already tried some hair products from the Shu Uemura range I was confident their latest line would be the ideal transition. Colour Lustre is the first line for colour treated hair specifically designed with a refining lipid that replenishes the hair’s natural protective varnish, restructures the surface and prevents colour fade. The science simplified? Apparently just like a painting, the hair requires a varnish to lock in vitality, maintain hydrophobicity, smoothness and shine. Over time, this protective layer is broken down leaving hair vulnerable to colour fading. Infused with Musk Rose Oil and Goji Berry Extract; the most concentrated natural source of anti oxidants, Color Lustre nourishes and protects hair leaving a glazed shine and polished touch.

The Brilliant Glaze Shampoo €30.00 is a delicate cleansing shampoo for colour treated hair. A first for Shu Uemura Art Of Hair with no damaging sulfates and no compromise on performance. The Brilliant Glaze Conditioner €40.00 is an illuminating conditioner for colour treated hair, providing essential nourishment to the hair fiber. I’ve been using this dreamy duo on the daily for the past two weeks and my hair has never looked more radiant and healthy. My colour looks salon fresh and I haven’t resorted to using colour bombs for an injection of vibrancy.

The Brilliant Glaze Treatment €50 is an intense nourishing treatment that adds vibrancy to hair colour, giving optimal shine and a glazed touch from roots to ends. The Brilliant Glaze Thermo Milk €40.00 has been voted the star product of the range. This thermo milk replenishes hair’s natural protective varnish during heat styling. A leave in treatment with the highest concentration of refining lipid within the range, your fibres will feel homogenous and smooth, making your tresses more malleable, supple and easier to style. I’m a huge fan of this range and already dreading when I run out. What products do you turn to for colour treated hair?
