Happy Tuesday, I’m so glad the sun has returned to Ireland after a seriously wet few days. I recently featured some new trainers on Snapchat that you all went crazy for. This week, Lidl will launch a brand new range of high performance sportswear, called Crivit Pro, which I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek of. The range will include specialist sportswear for running and cycling, with biomechanically engineered features to provide comfort and support at a fraction of the high street cost. Developed exclusively for Lidl, the first range from the collection will focus on running and will debut in stores nationwide on 14th April, featuring high tech runners for just €29.99, as well as specialist apparel and a triathlon suit, priced at just €19.99.
The Crivit Pro range focuses on dynamic, durable pieces that offer comfort, support and quality in a variety of styles and colours. Not only is the range accessible (it will be available in Lidl’s 145 stores nationwide), it’s also really affordable. I was sent out some of the high tech Crivit Pro runners, €29.99, to try out in advance of them going on sale. The signature runners will be available in two designs; natural and stability to suit different gaits and running styles. With lightweight, breathable mesh and hard wearing fabric, the signature Crivit Pro natural runners feature biomechanically engineered elements for increased flexibility, stability and breathability.
They come in a really pretty pink and grey and also a darker marl grey and black variety, which I could see myself wearing casually as well as to the gym. Those who require additional support for running need look no further than the Crivit Pro stability runners. I’ve tried these myself and they’re extremely comfortable and very sturdy. They come in three colours a gorgeous pastel blue & orange, dark purple & green and also black & red. Features include transparent cushioning elements at the front and rear of the trainer which respond to stride, weight and speed for added comfort and protection against impact, as well as an abrasion proof rubber sole to ensure extra grip. A high density midsole with traction control underfoot also helps to absorb and disperse impact and prevent over pronation.
The Crivit Pro collection also features a range of stylish, seamless sports bras, €11.99. Available in sizes 10-20 in four different styles, the Crivit Pro sports bra features ultra soft, in built fibres providing advanced support and chafe free comfort. Customers can look forward to additional Crivit Pro ranges arriving in Lidl’s 145 stores nationwide between April and October, including a high performance cycling range which will go on sale from 25th April. All products will be available while stocks last.
