My current favourite foundations

Everyday my social media accounts contain comments asking what foundation I’m wearing and my inbox is filled with questions regarding my favourite products. In the make up chapter of my book Fairy Tales I included five of my all time favourite foundations, but due to high demand I’ve decided to do a blog post for you guys and these babies are my current favourite bases.

Georgia Armani Luminous Silk is a long term love of mine and a base I always return to. This is a super light lightweight fluid foundation that gives the most seamless finish I’ve found. An oil free hydrating liquid, it’s extremely easy to apply, is blendable and buildable and works with any foundation brush for a long lasting dewy finish.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation is a more recent find that has made it’s way into my make up bag holy grail status. This is the most matte of the bunch with a medium to full coverage finish. As well as providing SPF15 protection it’s long lasting yet feels weightless, adding a velvet like veil to the skin without drying it out.

Nars Sheer Glow is a gorgeous glowing, satin finish foundation. The coverage is sheer but buildable and it really works on evening out the skin tone. Another thing I love about this liquid is the ingredients; it’s packed with skincare benefits including the NARS Complexion Brightening Formula which hydrates for a soft focus luminous look.

Yves Saint Laurent Le Teint Touche Éclat is my holy grail, dewy skin foundation. Everything from the luxurious packaging to the lightweight formulation is perfect. The buildable liquid coverage targets shadowy areas and highlights the contours of the face, making it a magic make over product that’s definitely worth trying.

L’Oréal True Match is the best budget buy base in my experience. Formulated with a fancy technology to adapt to your colouring and control your coverage, it contains no oils, fragrances, or pore clogging fillers. A little goes a long way, it blends like a dream and glides on effortlessly.

L’Oréal True Match Lumi is comparable to the YSL foundation for a fraction of the price. The product contains liquid light technology for an instant luminous glow. Ingredients wise this is far more high end than it’s price tag, containing a variety of vitamins and hydrating properties to plump up the skin.
